Now is the time! Every change in economic conditions affecting real estate create new opportunities for financial gain. If you currently own your home, or even if you are a renter with available investment money, this is a great time to purchase “Residential Investment Property.” Depending on the situation, you can either, rent it out (with some rather amazing tax benefits) and then sell it when the market stabilizes, or turn it over with a little fix up.
For those who are in a position to make the 20%-25% down payment required by lenders for investment property, all of the other elements are in play for a successful transaction.
